Owoseni Michael O .Mba, FCA, FCTI, MNIM, CFAOwoseni is a Partner and he is in charge of public sector, he obtained his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), with well over 16 years post professional qualification. He is also a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM) and a Certified Forensic Accountant of Nigeria (CFA). A researcher and professional lecturer in Public Sector Accounting & Finance; Advanced Auditing & Assurance in ICAN Professional Examinations. His Public Service Career started in 1986 when he joined the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation formerly known as Federal Audit Department, where he undoubtedly had an enviable career rising through the rank to the directorate level as a Deputy Director of Audit. Owoseni had a brilliant career of well over twenty-eight (28) years in the Federal Public Service. He led teams on audit engagements involving financial audit, value-for-money audit, review, and improvement of Internal Controls to several Federal Government Parastatals such as Nigeria Ports Authority, Shippers’ Council of Nigeria, NNPC, NIMASA, SON, ITF, CAC, UBEC, Tetfund, Bank of Industry Etc. He participated in many Local and Foreign Special Audits and Investigations, such as Nigeria Airways, National Population Commission, UNESCO–donor agency, Federation Account, Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys, Nigeria-Niger Joint Commission for Cooperation, Niger Republic, Nigerian Embassies in Kampala, Uganda, Addis-Ababa in Ethiopia, etc. He actively involved in manpower development/capacity building in many Government Parastatals/Agencies such as Nigeria Customs Service, Standard Organization of Nigeria, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, NAFDAC, Finance Attaché of Foreign Missions, South Africa etc. IN NIGERIA: – Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS). – Treasury Single Account (TSA) He attended numerous training programmes both Local and International in the fields of: (i) Financial Management of Development Projects by Crown Agents Financial Services Limited, London, UK.
